Liverpool transforms into a spending powerhouse, with reports claiming they are set to break the Premier League transfer record again by signing Isak.

The Premier League is the top league and boasts the strongest purchasing power. Historically, Liverpool has been quite frugal with their spending, but this summer window has seen a dramatic shift. In addition to officially announcing the signing of Flinpon, Liverpool is on the verge of securing Wirtz for a total fee of €150 million, which will soon break the Premier League transfer record. However, Liverpool is poised to break it again, with their new target being Newcastle's Swedish striker Isak.

According to an exclusive report by GIVEMESPORT, Liverpool is not giving up on the possibility of signing Newcastle forward Isak and is preparing to make a bid of £100 million plus add-ons, which could very well surpass the fee for Wirtz, making him the new record signing in the Premier League.

It is understood that Liverpool is making significant investments this summer and has identified Isak as the ultimate solution for their forward line. Given that Newcastle has Champions League commitments this season, they have priced Isak at £150 million. If Liverpool's offer indeed reaches this figure, Newcastle is likely to let him go, as Isak is eager to join a bigger club to compete for titles. Liverpool aims to acquire Isak at a reasonable price and is willing to spend a substantial transfer fee, but the exact amount will depend on negotiations between Liverpool and Newcastle.

Isak has played for Dortmund, Real Sociedad, and Newcastle, joining the Magpies in the summer of 2022 for a transfer fee of €70 million. During his time at Newcastle, he has made 109 appearances, scoring 62 goals and providing 11 assists.

The 25-year-old Isak stands at 1.92 meters tall and is a technically skilled striker who primarily uses his right foot. He is under contract with Newcastle until 2028, with a market value estimated at €120 million. Last season, Isak played 34 matches in the Premier League, contributing 23 goals and 6 assists, earning him the title of the league's second top scorer.
